Udai Chopra

Principal

Udai comes to Two Sigma from Potentia Capital in Sydney, Australia, where he served as an investment manager. In this role, he was actively involved in transaction sourcing, execution and portfolio management across software, technology and technology-enabled services businesses in Australia and New Zealand. Prior to this role, he was an M.B.A. summer associate at SGI Frontier Capital (acquired by Cerberus), a leading frontier markets private equity firm based in Ethiopia. He also previously interned at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in the Agricultural Development team, focusing on philanthropic organizations at the intersection of information and communication technologies and knowledge extension services for smallholder farmers in Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. Udai previously worked at UBS AG in Sydney, Australia, as a director in the Investment Banking Division. Udai earned an M.B.A. from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, an M.P.A. from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, and both a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia.
