Peter Cocozza

Peter Cocozza joined Two Sigma in November 2022 as Senior Vice President for Two Sigma Real Estate and currently serves as its Head of Development and Construction. Mr. Cocozza is responsible for technical and environmental due diligence for the acquisition of existing property and new development projects, and managing development, construction and capital improvement projects portfolio wide. Prior to joining Two Sigma, Mr. Cocozza was an Executive Director with J.P. Morgan Asset Management’s global real assets investment management team for over 16 years. In this role, he was responsible for technical due diligence for acquisitions and development oversight of all major real estate asset types across the U.S. and Europe. For 10 of those 16 years, Mr. Cocozza also managed technical due diligence for the acquisition of infrastructure assets globally (transportation, regulated utilities and power generation). Prior to J.P. Morgan, Mr. Cocozza served as Director of Construction at Loews Cineplex Entertainment (now AMC Theatres) and as a Management Consultant in the engineering & construction consulting practice at PwC. He began his career as a Project Engineer in the hazardous waste remediation division of environmental engineering firm Blasland, Bouck & Lee (an Arcadis company). Mr. Cocozza is a graduate of Union College and holds a MS from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
