How to launch replay file with .hlt extension on macbook?

Can somebody provide clear explanations of the process ? (any links of references because I try to find something like “launch hlt for dummies”. sentdex is outdated)

Also Halite Ofline Tools quit unexpectedly!

Does it have to be offline? Otherwise I’d recommend viewing it on the halite.io website. Just drag’n’drop the file to the are that tells you to drop a .hlt file there. Works in Chrome for OS X.
